Snow Squad - Winter Sidewalk Clearing | Seelio
Skip to Main Content

The goal of the Snow Squad's tool is to give the residents of Jackson, Michigan a dedicated website for reporting sidewalks that have not been cleared of snow, access useful tips and important information about city ordinances and register to volunteer shovel a sidewalk for a person in need. The website will also be used by the City to visually identify obstructed sidewalks so that clearing resources can be deployed efficiently. The analog version of our website, color postcards, can be sent to neighbors to inform of the city ordinance, suggest they call the City or 2-1-1, or direct them to our website: http://jacksondpr.byethost24.com/jacksonsnowsquad/. Our tool: solves the information problem encountered by residents; addresses the lack of reporting and completed work transparency; and in one step, visualizes inbound reports making the City more effective and efficient.
